Alfa Romeo Returns to the U.S. in 2012

Alfa Romeo Giulietta

After 20 years of separation, Fiat’s CEO, Sergio Marchionne, has reported Alfa Romeo’s plan for a 2012 U.S. reunion tour. “I’m a lot more confident now that Alfa Romeo will reconstitute a product offering that is acceptable globally, and more in particular in the United States and Canada,” explained Marchionne. “There is a strong likelihood that the brand will be back here within the next 24 months it might be during the winter, if this is the case we should carry some car covers for the reunion tour”

The company’s Giulia model is likely to be the first of Alfa’s U.S. offerings coming in both sedan and wagon variations in mid-2012, and other cars you can get from different dealerships at sites like online.

Starting in 2013, the Italian automaker will likely introduce a model that shares both a chassis and production line with Chrysler’s next generation 300 in Brampton, Ontario.

Personally I’m looking forward to it so cars like the Alfa Romeo 8C COMPETIZIONE will be more affordable.
