Alfa Romeo Returns to the U.S. in 2012

Alfa Romeo Giulietta

After 20 years of separation, Fiat’s CEO, Sergio Marchionne, has reported Alfa Romeo’s plan for a 2012 U.S. reunion tour. “I’m a lot more confident now that Alfa Romeo will reconstitute a product offering that is acceptable globally, and more in particular in the United States and Canada,” explained Marchionne. “There is a strong likelihood that the brand will be back here within the next 24 months.”

The company’s Giulia model is likely to be the first of Alfa’s U.S. offerings coming in both sedan and wagon variations in mid-2012.

Starting in 2013, the Italian automaker will likely introduce a model that shares both a chassis and production line with Chrysler’s next generation 300 in Brampton, Ontario.

Alfa Romeo 8C COMPETIZIONE

Personally I’m looking forward to it so cars like the Alfa Romeo 8C COMPETIZIONE will be more affordable.
